Ly-Con sets the standard for unmatched power combined with maximum reliability. Our engines have been repeatedly proven in the most demanding environments around.
We've propelled numerous race winners around the pylons at Reno, such as Vito Wypraechtiger, Steve Senegal, Tom Aberle, and Jeff Lavelle, setting new world records and winning championships along the way. In 2014 alone, we powered the top qualifiers, race winners, and set new speed records in every class where our customers competed. In 2015, Tom Aberle bumped his qualifying and race records even higher. Ly-Con built engines powered Hannes Arch and Paul Bonhomme to the championship in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship in 2008, 2009, and 2010 - including 16 race wins. In fact, Ly-Con powered pilots finished 1-2-3 in the final standings for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. These engines ran the entire race season without a single failure. Ly-Con built engines were so dominant, the series instituted a spec-engine rule when they returned in 2015 to give the rest of a field a chance to win! Legendary airshow performers such as Sean D. Tucker, Pete McLeod, Gary Ward, Skip Stewart, and Ed Hamill, depend on Ly-Con power to generate the thrust they need to amaze crowds around the world while enjoying a level of steadfast reliability that keeps them safe and on-schedule. You may not require the level of extreme performance that these pilots do. But you can rest easy knowing that the same hands and minds that have developed and assembled these outstanding engines are also dedicated to providing that same level of workmanship and attention to detail to every engine that passes through our doors. It's our quality commitment to you, and it's the only way we do business. Skip Stewart and Gary Ward
